Leader in delivering superior communication experiences expands use of Flowroute across all cloud offerings to speed customer onboarding and time-to-market
SEATTLE, Wa. – July 11, 2018 – Flowroute Inc., the first software-centric carrier, announced that Avaya Holdings Corp. (NYSE: AVYA), a global leader in digital communications software, services and devices for businesses of all sizes, has selected Flowroute to accelerate the delivery of cloud-based communications in its Communications Platform as-a-service (CPaaS), Unified Communications as-a-service (UCaaS), and Contact Center as-a-service (CCaaS) solutions.
To accelerate customer onboarding and time to market, Avaya turned to Flowroute to enable its customers to instantly purchase, port, provision, and configure voice and messaging services. Being a software-centric carrier, Flowroute is able to provide Avaya with direct access to and control over high-quality telephony resources via cloud application programming interfaces (APIs).
“We are committed to delivering a best-in-class cloud platform to simplify the way our customers deploy new communication experiences,” said Mehdi Nezarati, senior director of product management at Avaya. “Flowroute is helping create a frictionless experience for onboarding customers and ensuring we get to market faster. By working with Flowroute, we are able to deliver unparalleled network coverage, quality, and reliability for our customers.”
“The single biggest driver for enterprises to move communications to the cloud is the need to improve agility,” says Irwin Lazar, vice president and service director at Nemertes Research. “To meet the demand for rapid access to new telecom features and capabilities, service providers must be able to quickly provision new customers with a broad array of reliable and scalable communications services. Providers that can do so will gain critical advantage and will enable customers to promptly realize value from their digital transformation and cloud communication initiatives.”
Flowroute’s technology enables Avaya to offer on-demand telecom services to its customer base including local and toll-free phone numbers, call routing, as well as short-message-service (SMS) and multimedia-messaging-service (MMS) capabilities. Avaya selected Flowroute because of its ability to deliver unprecedented inbound voice reliability and uptime through its patented HyperNetwork™. The HyperNetwork detects and re-routes calls around network issues as well as service degradation across any carrier’s network.
“To succeed in delivering communication solutions today, communications providers need to take full advantage of cloud-based technologies – even when interfacing with carriers – to simplify and differentiate customer experiences,” said Eric Harber, CEO at Flowroute. “Avaya understands this imperative, and we’re excited to support them in their cloud journey.”
